Jinwenrui Ma 

Jinwenrui Ma is a research technician with a background in chemistry and pharmacology. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at UC Santa Barbara, where she actively participated in research projects under the guidance of the Ford Group. Her work focused on the intriguing field of NIR light mediated intracellular release of nitric oxide, exploring novel approaches to controlled intracellular delivery of therapeutic agents using near-infrared light.

 

Building upon her passion for research, Jinwenrui pursued a Master’s degree in Pharmacology at Georgetown University. As a graduate student, she joined the prestigious Lombardi Cancer Center and is currently working as a research technician in the Fornace Lab. She participated in the project of space radiation-induced persistent estrogenic responses and its potential risk in the development of breast cancer.

 

Jinwenrui’s expertise encompasses a range of molecular biology techniques, including genotyping, immunohistochemistry, and western blotting. Throughout her academic and research career, she has demonstrated a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for scientific discovery. She is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the field of cancer research and strives to make significant contributions that can ultimately improve patient outcomes.
